Paperless Charting
Our office utilizes digital technology for most of your dental visit. This means all of your charting and x-rays are made and recorded to a computer. The technology allows us to maintain your dental records electronically, cutting down on the unnecessary waste of paper and improve standardized records. This makes information more current and easy to read. The information can also be used quickly and securely to request treatment benefits from your insurance company or share with your other health care providers.

Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays allow us to take pictures of your teeth using 80% less radiation, and without chemicals, to produce an instant image with high quality. This high quality x-ray image provides valuable information about your oral health and allows Dr. Nguyen to see hidden abnormalities including tooth decay, infections, and signs of gum disease. The amount of radiation from the dental x-rays is very small, about 40 times less, compared to our daily exposure of naturally-occurring elements, such as the sun.

Patient Education (Patient VU Cloud and Casey Education)
Patient VU Cloud and Casey are both digital patient education systems, which help explain dental conditions and procedures with visual aid. Each procedure will be carefully explained to allow our patients to thoroughly understand their treatment needs and recommendations.

Opalescence Boost Whitening System
Your smile is important to us. It’s one of the first things you notice when you meet someone. Teeth stain and darken over time from aging and what we eat or drink. Drinking coffee, tea, colas, and red wine or smoking can contribute to stained teeth. Our office offers Opalescence Boost, an in-office whitening system, which can help you achieve a whiter and brighter smile after one hour. With the Opalescence Boost system, you may be able to whiten your teeth faster with less fading back and longer lasting results. Our office also offers Opalescence Ready to Go and Opalescence Customized take-home whitening options to best fit your needs.

Invisalign®
Invisalign® is a modern alternative to straighten teeth, using clear plastic aligners. Compared to the traditional braces that include wires and brackets, Invisalign® is easy to remove in order to brush and floss as well as to eat. Invisalgin® can correct crowding and spaces while improving your bite; from minor to moderate and in some cases severe conditions. It is recommended to wear your Invisalign® aligners for at least 22 hours a day for proper correction. Over the course of your treatment time, each aligner gradually moves your teeth to reach the smile you’ve always wanted. Diode Soft Tissue Laser
The Diode Soft Tissue Laser uses a precise beam of light energy making it ideal for procedures involving cutting or trimming of soft tissue. The soft tissue laser is used to perform a wide range of procedures from high tissue attachment and gingival shaping to the treatment of canker and cold sores. With the use of a soft tissue laser, there is greater patient comfort, while often not requiring the use of local anesthetic, as well as helping to aid in faster healing time and reduce postoperative swelling.
